Blackwake is a pirate-themed, multiplayer naval FPS developed by OneEyeTyler and Dakota.
It was made in the ESENTHEL engine, and started as a hobby project between 2 friends in 2013.
Playing as the Royal Navy or Pirates in two teams of up to 27, Blackwake players work together to fire cannons, shoot muskets, and clash swords with the enemy in a battle to own the sea, with a wide variety of different ships, weapons, and customizable cosmetics to be chosen, and across multiple game modes: Team Deathmatch, Capture the Booty, and Fortress Siege.
Blackwake successfully released into Early Access on Steam in 2017 for Windows and OSX, receiving "very positive" user and critical reviews.
